What You Need


In general, you usually need some high school education.

To be a construction labourer, you may need general construction labouring experience.You may receive on-the-job training.

To be a construction labourer in large-diameter oil and gas pipeline construction, you usually need one season's experience in this type of oil/gas pipeline construction.

Many recent entrants have a community college diploma, and almost 3 in 10 have a trade/vocational certificate.
